It’s me

Hi, I’m Kristin!

I’ve been taking pictures for as long as I can remember. Disposable cameras at summer camp in elementary school, film and darkroom lessons in middle school and yearbook photography in high school led me to a Photojournalism degree in college.

I started shooting weddings on film in college and while I miss the art and detailed focus of it, digital life has soothed the anxieties of running out of film at a crucial moment or praying you don’t screw up loading the film to develop it.

While I’ve been shooting weddings for almost 15 years, I moved to Maine in 2013 and slowly started to build a business here while I served, cooked, catered, bartended and gardened on the side. I feel so lucky to have been able to go full time with 88 Clementine in 2019! It’s been such a fun, wild ride and I truly love my job.

I also love the ocean, fresh and dried flowers, surprises, being in nature, hosting supper parties, honoring the moon, studying tarot and cooking for myself and company.

Most days you can find me doing house projects, neurotically cleaning or editing at my computer with my 16 year old chihuahua, Ella, in my lap.

When I’m not working I’m giving thanks, eating chocolate, trying to stretch more and just be me.
